There’s something special about Worthington: We seem to attract bridal parties galore. Long-time residents will laugh and nod knowingly if you mention it, it’s so true. Why? Worthington has a quaint village feel, you can park once and spend three days exploring the three or four blocks surrounding the amazing Worthington Inn, and we have a little something for everyone.
A friendly, tightly knit community, any business in the village is happy to recommend another. Looking for a great hostess gift? Try the wine shop or candle shop. Ask them where to eat, and they’ll ask what you like and send you to the seafood restaurant, the Inn, or to the French bistro. Ask one of our restauranteurs where to shop, and they’ll send you to any one of a dozen specialty stores filled with amazing finds. The florist or antique shop is likely to recommend the ice cream shop or coffee house. You’ll find that our little village is a well-networked business community, and we support and encourage both residents and visitors to explore and enjoy every little nook and cranny of Worthington.
Ok, we admit, the regular bridal party invasions may have a LITTLE something to do with the five large churches in a two block radius from the Village Green, too…but we like to think that the something special about Worthington is our welcoming warmth and amazing variety of small businesses just a few steps away from wherever you land in our little village!
