Gahanna Holiday Lights Celebration – Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Prepare for a magical kickoff to the holiday season with a family affair that boasts live reindeer, offering cuddles and picturesque moments. Revel in carriage rides, a flurry of entertainment, and a medley of activities. Witness the downtown’s brilliance as the twinkle lights ceremoniously adorn the streets, culminating in the grand tree lighting. And guess who’s stopping by? Santa himself! Can’t make it to this extravaganza? Don’t fret, the lights stay on for all to enjoy.

The Santa Race 5K Run & Little Reindeer Dash – Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am
The Little Reindeer Dash is a short event for kids aged 6 and under. Parents can join their kids aged 4 and under for a 100-yard dash, while kids aged 5 and 6 cover 150 yards. Following this, the Santa Race 5K welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers. Prizes await the top finishers and best holiday costumes. It’s a blend of exercise and fun! Register online today.

Looking for a magical holiday experience? Meet Santa in a charming 1910 parlor setting. This special event offers families a reserved 6-minute time slot to capture photos with Santa, and parents are welcome to use their personal devices for photos. Presented by Visit Gahanna and The Ohio Herb Center as a community “Thank You,” your reservation deposit will support the Outreach Fund, helping provide free programming for local groups. While you’re there, explore the gift shop for unique, handcrafted holiday gifts to make your visit even more memorable!
